  • Traditional talk therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, engage only the mind, not the body, encouraging people to become aware of disturbing thoughts and behavior patterns and work to change them.

    Cognitive behavioral therapies focus on conscious mind and work on challenging thoughts in relation to anxiety and behaviors, helping desensitize people to uncomfortable sensation; while somatic therapy is more about relieving the tension, as opposed to desensitizing people to it.

  • Because you know that your beliefs drive your thoughts, your feelings and therefore your behaviour. so if you change your belief, you’ll change your results. the catch is how to dig deep enough to get to the core belief. somatic therapy uses the body as a portal to the present moment, which carries the past within its cellular level, to effectively access the buried beliefs within, to make that transformation from within. The power is that it comes from within you, thereby empowering you. I am the guide to help you get there.
